This is where Wyk shines. Wyk utilizes your data, the people you know, and the people they know to find people best suited to help you with issues large or small. Wyk connects you with your local and online community in order to both seek and offer help through the people you already know.
WYK literally stands for Who You Know.

WHO

The Wyk app’s main purpose is to give people a platform to help other people in their local or online communities.
Users build a comprehensive profile detailing all of their knowledge and skills. They then set their parameters for the level of help they are offering and how they prefer to be contacted. When they meet a community users search criteria they can then choose to help that user for free or set a fee.

WHEN

Open the Wyp app and simply ask “Who do I know that can install a car stereo?’ or “Who do I know that has a healthy home remedy for teething babies?” Within seconds the Wyk app shows you the connections that best fit your needs. Quick and Easy.
Gone are the days of creating a post and hoping for the best. Gone are the days of long arduous take of online searches.

WHERE

Whether you need local in-person assistance with a plumbing issue or need to have a quick online discussion on how String Theory works, the Wyk app will find the right person right where you are.
The Wyk app even has a “Nearby” function that helps you find connections currently near you or helps you connect with your community when traveling and needing assistance.

Users can agree to payment for assistance or services. Users can also choose to tip those who help them. Wyk will be charged a fee for all in-app transactions.
Business accounts will be charged a monthly fee in exchange for placement in user search results.
Business accounts will be charged a per-click fee for in-app, email, or direct message marketing

  • Angi: With an extensive nationwide network of more than 200,000 skilled home pros, Angi has helped more than 150 million people maintain, repair, renovate, and improve their homes and has helped hundreds of thousands of small local businesses grow.

Nearly half of Americans report working a gig outside of their full-time occupation, but it's not always out of necessity. The most common reason full-time workers started a side hustle was wanting a source of disposable income.

Project Status

STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT:

Brand and identity is complete. The Pitch deck is designed and laid out. The feasibility document has been started. The business plan is in the initial stage (to be completed with the Executive team).

Prototype, wireframe, and all assets are built (iPhone and Apple watch). An offshore development partner is in place and awaiting the green light. Product beta testing can happen 3 months after the production start date. Servers have been sourced, and Google Cloud offers the best pricing, performance, and scalability that is required for the Wyk platform. It will also easily integrate our mobile analytics.
